Thoughs of tomorrow’s Division 1 Third Level camogie final from UL captain Laura McMahon.

“We are delighted with how the League campaign has gone so far. There are a lot of new girls on the panel and they are all pushing for a starting jersey. We approached it one match at a time and really focused on developing our weaknesses in every game. Each game that we played in was a really tough hard fought match which will hopefully stand to us.

We are looking forward to the final. Unfortunately we are missing a few girls because of work placement. Maynooth are a team that we haven’t come up against in the last four years so it is a case of going into the unknown.

With regards the Ashbourne we still have to play Mary I and UCD in the qualifiers but we are confident that we will be able to secure a place in the Ashbourne weekend.”
